Understanding GeoHolidays’ Partnership With RCI
It was major news when the GeoHolidays Club announced their association with RCI, one of the biggest names in the vacation ownership industry. They had always faced a criticism; namely that vacationers may not enjoy the resorts that were owned and operated by this vacation club. Now that RCI is in the picture, it lends more weight to GeoHolidays vacation ownership policy. With the GeoPlus program, members can use RCI Points and exchange their club credits for more “mainstream” accommodations with over 3,700 affiliated resorts that RCI works with. The RCI deal also opens up more options to members interested in trading in their credits for airline tickets, sea cruises, hotel stays, car rentals and other benefits. Now GeoHolidays can state confidently that even if members don’t want to visit the company’s own 65 resorts, they can visit thousands of other locations and take advantage of that old fashioned Geo hospitality.
